SEO Freelancers Introduction

This is our first post, so here’s some background to SEO Freelancers, and what’s planned for the near future.
SEO Freelancers crystalized around a month ago, when it became clear there were no marketplaces dedicated to SEO outsourcing. It seemed most were happy relegating the niche to a corner where it was largely ‘just another category’.
What was of particular interest was the lack of definition, and apparent lack of understanding of the various areas of expertise within the SEO field. Extend that to SEM, and you have a broad niche that clearly needs it’s own dedicated outsourcing space.
Of course there’s also the need to add value by introducing or extending services (such as our SMS alerting features) and ensure providers and webmasters can leverage their existing reputations and ratings at other sites (a process we’re now integrating with our marketplace), but all told SEO Freelancers is rapidly taking shape as a promising and focused alternative to sites like getafreelancer, ifreelance, and elance to name a few.
I hope that provides a little insight into what we’re about, and of course the posts will continue as we progress towards our rollout date.
